Laura, Yes Hobby Lobby. I do love their fabric and the fact that it is always on sale.
Tilly, I used to use another tutorial but she had to take it down due to the hooter hider police as she called them. Sadly I didn't save the instructions or the measurements. I used this one this time. http://madebythemamamonster.blogspot.com/2008/04/nursing-cover-tutorial.html As was quite pleased with the results even thought the strap is really different than the way I used to make them. I do recommend it though. It's super easy and quick. It does involve lots of ironing if you are someone who irons before you hem things though. Normally I don't unless it's for someone else. :)
I have a really great vegetarian cookbook that I got a few years back. I think you and your family would really enjoy it. I would be more than happy to mail it to you. I've put all of the recipes on note cards so the cookbook is just taking up space in my house. If you want to e-mail me at sparklesandfate@gmail.com I will get it to you this week.
It is gorgeous. I am sure it will be a huge blessing to her! I had nearly completed my nursing cover, when I lost a huge battle with my sewing machine. I cannot get the bottom bobbin to cooperate, no matter what. I know I just need to find a local seamstress to help me, but I have been finding it hard to get out of the house.
Ooh I love it!! Unfortunately Hayden is no longer breastfeeding...I miss the days...they seemed to have passed too quickly. Would you consider making one to sell?
Hey Kelly. I used to make these and sell them in my Etsy store but when I got pregnant with Emma I lost the desire to sew. : ) I would be happy to make one to sell. I have been using mine for over a year and it's just as good as when I first made it. Several others friends still use theirs' too so I'm pretty confident in there durability.

How beautiful! You've definitely got a gift... and the fabric you chose is gorgeous!
Thank you Christie. I love sewing but am often too insecure about the finished product to give it away. : )
