New Way of Life

Zion is learning about life without a pacifier. He's an addict and it's been so heartbreaking watching him so through withdrawals. We decided to do it cold turkey and it's been a few days; with day getting better and better. We even made it through our Sunday service with no paci. We are having to keep on him for putting his hands/fingers in his mouth so as not to develop that bad habit. 

He's started adding some new words to his VERY limited vocabulary but he still does lots of grunting. We've come to love his grunting and will more than likely miss the day when it ceases. It's kind of his trademark. : ) 

We still have two main physical things to work on:

~ sleeping in his own bed 

~ potty training

We are going to get over the paci withdrawals and then start on the sleeping thing and in the months/year to come work on the potty training when he shows some signs of being ready.
