January - Half Gone

It's amazing that January is already half over. Oddly enough the last couple of weeks haven't been too crazy busy. I can't say the same for the upcoming ones. This week Jeremy is doing some contracted teaching two nights, working late at his regular job on Monday, off on Wednesday, but working on Saturday (which happens to be our anniversary), and has to pick up his girls Friday night for their weekend at our house. So the only "normal" family night we will have is Wednesday. I am NOT looking forward to this week or weekend. The next week looks a little better but then the last week of January we repeat the above late night schedule (minus the Wednesday off and working on Saturday).

For meals this week I have the following planned:

Monday - Meatloaf (with 1# of grass fed beef), loaded mashed potatoes (have too much sour cream on hand, not spending the money for bacon), Frozen green veggie

Tuesday - Sour Cream noodle bake,  Salad

Wednesday - Taco Soup (day out with Jeremy, make soup on Tuesday)

Thursday - Chicken Pot Pie

Friday is my grocery shopping day so it starts the beginning of new menu plans.

I always admire Laura for posting her monthly goals. I'm not near as good at meeting my goals (I'm prone to distractions and bad scheduling) but I do have some little goals I hope to meet by the end of the month. Don't laugh at how simple they are.

~Deep Clean the Washing machine - I have really needed to do this.

~ Call about washing machine not draining all the water - should have done this months ago -LAZY

~ Find and try some new healthier snacks like these.

~ Reorganize Pinterest - declutter, delete, and categorize for easier access

~ Walk everyday that it is not raining or simply too freezing cold - pregnancy weight gain is climbing rapidly AHHHHH!

I like your goals! I need to clean my washer too. How did the walking go? It was awfully cold and rainy here last week.

I am happy to say we accomplished all our goals so far. : ) As for the walking, I have been doing the Walk Away the Pounds DVD. I do the 3 Mile but only do it for 20 minutes. That's enough for me! : )
