FrankenFoot Documented

This is more for "fun" than anything. One day I will look back and laugh at the state of my right foot and leg. Right now, um, not so much

See the big bulge at my ankle? That's the biggest problem, which causes the most discomfort.

Crazy stuff goes all the way to the bottom of my foot.

The puffy veins extend all the way up my leg but praise the Lord, they cause little discomfort.

And my left foot and leg, just perfectly normal. Crazy things happen during pregnancy.

Ouch! Looking at those pictures makes my own varicose veins hurt! But your toenails look pretty. :)

Ouch Emily, that looks extremely painful! I had no idea what you meant until now :-(
(The funny this is, you still have cute feet, even with frankenfoot syndrome, hehehe!!!)

Take care, sorry you are going through this :/

OUCH, EM!!!!!!
Wow, it really looks as if your right leg would belong to someone else! I'll be praying it gets no worse, and for your to find comfort the rest of the pregnancy...along with being pain free. Love your heart!

Hugs~

That looks painful! The ladies at our church recently had a come and share day and someone recommended soaking a hand towel or wash cloth in apple cider vinegar and wrapping it around your foot/leg with varicose veins and then wrapping that with saran wrap and wearing it overnight.

Also, if you like using essential oils, there's a lotion recipe which should help too: 2oz unperfumed lotion, 5 drops lemon oil, 5 drops geranium oil and 5 drops cypress oil. Mix well and keep refrigerated (recipe courtesy: "Aromatherapy and Massage for Mother and Baby" by Allison England).

If you try these let us know how they work!

Blessings,
Kaitlin

So sorry Emily. I have never(yet) had a problem with varicose veins but it sure does look painful. Praying for relief!!! Those sweet babies are worth it all though! :)Even though pregnancies vary so much we get a beautiful gift in the end! That never changes. Take care and thanks for the update. I love to read other peoples baby/pregnancy updates.
